March 23, 2011 was declared by both the Texas House of Representatives and the Texas State Senate as "Hutto Day at the Capitol." Community representatives from the City of Hutto, the Hutto Economic Development Corporation, Hutto ISD and the Hutto Area Chamber of Commerce spent the day visiting with both houses of the Texas Legislature and staff members. Time was spent sharing information and impressing upon these representative how important the various topics are to the positive growth our community. (credit to city of hutto)
